Voluntary partnership agreement
The voluntary partnership agreement is a way of encapsulating our best-practice guidance for stress-free self-validation and beyond for schools.
After a detailed review of the process of self-validation in Cornwall and in ongoing consultation with CAPH, CASH and the Cornwall Gatekeeping Unit, we developed the Voluntary Partnership Agreement to offer you the best possible support and guidance to help you achieve, maintain and enhance your Healthy School status.
The agreement is also intended to set out clearly what the Cornwall Healthy Schools team feels is the most effective way for schools to gain national Healthy Schools status. Through its use we feel that schools will not only find the path to gaining status more straightforward and rewarding, but will also build a clear body of evidence to support that status.
However, this partnership agreement is voluntary. If you choose not to sign the agreement you are still able to make use of our support to follow the self-validation route and your success will not be prejudiced.
Whether you choose to take part in this partnership agreement or not, we are determined to ensure that the process belongs to you and that your needs are paramount.
