Voluntary partnership agreement

Under the agreement, we offer schools

  • a dedicated, named Healthy Schools Support Worker
  • tailored support to meet the individual needs of the school
  • on-call support by telephone and e-mail
  • an induction meeting in school for any new HS coordinator
  • online drop-in days for practical help with the online tools
  • hands-on assistance with audit completion, the Annual Review and the Health and Wellbeing Improvement Tool
  • practical help in the development and review of policies and programmes of work
  • signposting to best practice, to key local partners who support HS work and to training and resources
  • input to staff and governors' meetings by CHSP team members when requested
  • assistance in identifying baselines for outcomes and support in highlighting and collecting useful data
  • tools for identifying and measuring outcomes and framing them for self-validation, help with developing specific tools to meet the needs of the individual school, a pre-validation visit to confirm the school is meeting HS standard and a chance to celebrate all the school has achieved with the school community
  • support after self-validation including review work, Healthy Schools Plus, and help to transfer to the Annual Review and Enhancement
  • support to provide information for the SEF, and Ofsted's pupil wellbeing indicators
  • a sympathetic ear and engagement in a professional dialogue to ensure that the programme in Cornwall reflects the needs of schools and is closely aligned with schools' priorities
  • and direct access, through this website, to all the tools and information needed to support healthy schools work.
