Every Child Matters and Healthy Schools

The more rigorous standard for Healthy Schools was introduced in September 2005 as a direct result of Every Child Matters (ECM).

Schools are now required to take account of the five key outcomes of ECM. This is something OfSTED inspectors look for and is to be evidenced in the school's SEF.

Much of the Healthy Schools online audit focuses on these outcomes and our core themes are now centred on them.
