Bishop Cornish CE VA Primary School
Bishop Cornish school discovered the need for some sun safety work owing to a lack of shade and the risk of suburn and dehydration. They built a willow structure and created a sun safety policy amongst other things. Their case study tells you more.
Delabole CP School
Delabole CP School found that about half of pupils did not know about healthy eating, did not grow fruit or vegetables at home and did not cook at home either. So the school chose to work on helping children and families to maintain a healthier weight through gardening, growing and cooking. Grampound Road Village CE School
Grampound Road chose to work on emotional health and wellbeing, which they linked to their school priority around tackling bullying. Heamoor CP School chose to work on improving the children’s knowledge and understanding of healthier food, increasing the uptake of school meals and increasing the number of children cycling to school. Read the case study.
Kennall Vale School
Kennall Vale School chose to work on sun safety. Children were coming into school suffering from sunburn; this indicated a need to educate about sunsafe behaviours. The school also needed to raise awareness and prompt changes in attitudes and behaviours among families in order to establish good habits with the youngest children. Read more in the case study.

Landewednack CP School
Landewednack CP School chose to work on sun safety. The school's objectives for this project were to develop the children’s understanding of the dangers of not protecting themselves against the sun, to enable the children to develop independent sun safe behaviours and to provide shaded areas on the school field. Lewannick School
Lewannick School chose to work on SRE for their Healthy Schools Plus project using the CWP resource, which they feel will enhance the overall provision of SRE in KS2. Read their case study.
Penair School
Penair chose to work on pupils' emotional health and wellbeing, focussing particularly on a group of Year 9 girls who were at risk of exclusion. The intervention work was carried out in the school's integrated health centre, the Bywva Centre. The work was highly successful, resulting in the risk of exclusion among the target girls being substantially reduced, read more.

Pensans School chose to work on increasing the amount of physical activity children access in the curriculum. They wanted to offer extra-curricular activities and increase pupils' knowledge and understanding of healthy lifestyles. Read more in their case study.

Restormel Short Stay School chose to work on pupils' self-esteem. They wanted students to learn what a healthy relationship should be, and so to be empowered to form better, healthy relationships based on trust, kindness, respect and honesty rather than lacking the self-confidence to say "No". St Mark's Morwenstow chose to work on children's emotional health and wellbeing. They did this through RTime, new clubs and by trialling our short self-esteem programme. Read their case study.
St Martin-in-Meneage CP School
It was evident to staff at St Martin-in-Meneage that SRE wasn't being taught consistently throughout the school so they chose to work on this for Healthy Schools Plus.
