Baseline survey
Carrying out a baseline survey enables you to get a clear picture of the situation and to clarify targets. By repeating the survey during your work you can gather trend data, then a final survey at the end of your work will enable you measure progress and evaluate your work.
Some of the most important tools you can use are our pupil and parent surveys which we are working on in partnership with the School's Health Education Unit (SHEU). "Good schools understand well the connection between pupils' physical and mental health, their safety and their educational attainment", education white paper, November 2010.
