Partners

Partnership working is vital to the success of Healthy Schools. We work closely with partners from a range of agencies and organisations across Cornwall, all of them endeavouring to support schools in many ways.

Our vision

Our vision is that schools will be able to access advice, information and school-based support to help them achieve Healthy Schools action plan targets from partners who are best placed to provide expert input in the context of their existing relationship with schools.

Eventually we hope that partners will be helping schools judge whether they are ready for validation in appropriate core themes.

We want to show partners that a school’s involvement in Healthy Schools can help to bring added value to their own work with schools and to their targets and outcomes for that work.

We would also like to see our work with partners as an opportunity to signpost schools to excellent services and support from partners not already engaged in schools.

Achieving the vision

Achieving this vision will require us to ensure that we get to know and meet as many partners as possible, share information about Healthy Schools and learn how we can support them in their work with schools.
