Gardening

Mullion CP School Mullion in Bloom offered to come to school and run a Gardening Club after school once a week. The children have all loved watching everything grow and have picked, eaten and sold their produce at the school fair and the local Harbour Day.  It has certainly raised awareness of where food comes from and really motivated some KS2 boys who could be ‘tricky’.

Trewirgie Infants School The school has used the allotment this year to grow fruit and vegetables.  They are now harvesting the goodies and the children are taking them to the school kitchen to be cooked for school dinners.
