Save the Children
Save the Children has produced a guide for primary schools, How you can help us. Schools can help by choosing a suitable fundraising activity and by registering for the Emergency Network supporting resources. These resources and teaching suggestions show what happens when an emergency occurs and how Save the Children helps. There are online materials which include ideas for assembly. Once registered, schools can also receive the Friendship Funday pack containing stories from children around the world and giving ideas as to how the school council can get involved. There are suggestions for lessons, more assembly ideas, a DVD and fundraising materials.
