The kiss of life could be the greatest kiss you ever give.

Join the campaign to get every young person knowing how to save a life before they leave school. Having Emergency Life Support (ELS) skills should be as important as learning to read and write.

Cornwall Healthy Schools are supporting the BHF campaign to get ELS onto the curriculum...

BHF and Resuscitation Council UK campaign

The British Heart Foundation and the Resuscitation Council UK have jointly launched a campaign to make Emergency Life Support (ELS) a compulsory part of the curriculum in England.  This follows on from research which showed that more than half (60%) of children are powerless to help someone who has collapsed in the street despite three quarters (73%) wanting to be able to help.  The survey also revealed overwhelming support from both teachers and parents for children learning ELS.  More than 4 in 5 teachers (86%) believe it should be taught at school and 70% of parents agree.
