Jumps not bumps!
As part of local work to support Child Safety Week (20th to 26th June 2011) NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly is encouraging us to be safe when we trampoline.
Chance of a FREE trampoline lesson!
As part of the campaign eight hundred 5-11 year-olds in Cornwall are being offered the chance of a FREE trampoline lesson.
Beth Beynon, the Children's Accident Prevention Co-ordinator for NHS Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, is leading the campaign. She is inviting primary schools to deliver a trampoline-themed assembly or lesson, and has compiled this toolkit for teachers to use. She'd also like schools to use the Jumps not bumps poster she has created and to distribute the Jumps not bumps trampoline safety leaflet to parents in the approach to the summer holidays to enable them to claim the free trampoline lesson for their child.
