National Healthy Schools website and database
Your school's online audit
Each school has its own dedicated secure area in the database on the national Healthy Schools website. This is where you complete your audit, record evidence, make notes about action plans and share the audit with others in school. We strongly recommend you complete the audit online. It is also where you press the button to request self-validation.
You need to be registered and have a password to access the site. All schools in Cornwall, including Short Stay Schools, have now registered, so if you need to know who is registered for your school, ring us on 01209 310061 and we'll check for you. Otherwise, contact the national website helpline on 0845 601 7848.
For the schools that have achieved National Healthy School Status the other national tools, the Annual Review and the Health and Wellbeing Improvement Tool are also available on the national Healthy Schools website.
Cornwall Healthy Schools training and support
We hold regular training sessions for schools on the self-validation process, usually in a Wi-Fi enabled training room so that attendees can have hands-on practice in using the website and audit tools. Since the national Healthy Schools programme introduced the new online tools (the Annual Review and the Health and Wellbeing Improvement Tool) we've also started to run online drop-in days to help you with all online aspects, see our training page for dates. We're also happy to help you get online during support visits. (Please make sure you know your password!)
