Give it a go!

Just as a reminder for those who work with economically disadvantaged young people and children in care that there is funding available for eligible children. This has to be spent by 31st August 2011.

The Give it a go funding can be used to enable eligible children and young people to access out-of-school-hours activities. This could be in the form of paying fees, equipment (such as bikes, musical instruments, dance shoes, surf boards) or transport.  If the child or young person wants to access an activity please use the approved provider list on the Family Information Services website, where you will find more than two hundred registered providers or contact Tanya Moore if there is something else they would like to do that is currently not listed, email Tanya.
