Grants for Cookits 

The Food Standards Agency is offering grants towards half the cost of Cookits for primary schools. A Cookit is a set of high quality cooking equipment; it contains all the equipment needed to teach basic cooking and baking skills to up to twelve pupils. It also includes a range of items for teacher demonstrations, activity and recipe ideas, and health and hygiene advice. It is designed to enable teachers to teach practical cooking skills and inspire children to learn about healthier eating and food safety.
