Hands up for Max!

The Health Protection Team in Cornwall has arranged for a "Hands up for Max!" pack to be sent to all primary schools in Cornwall - look out for yours! The packs are being sent out via Cornwall Council's school dispatch system on 10th December. 

The resource pack teaches handwashing and contains lesson plans, an art competition and lots more. Go to the Hands up for Max website for more information.

This is a really good resource and a valuable message, especially at this time wth concerns about swine flu etc.

In case you don't know the Health Promotion Service Information Centre has two handwashing light boxes which you can borrow - pupils love them and the message about how to wash hands properly really gets home.
