New draft SRE guidance

The DCSF has issued new draft SRE guidance covering all maintained schools and Short Stay Schools in England. The guidance addresses planning and delivering SRE, developing an SRE policy, and supporting the health and social needs of pupils with regard to sex and relationships. The DCSF has also opened a consultation on the guidance with a deadline of Monday 19 April for responses. To read the draft guidance and respond to the consultation go to the DCSF website.
