Something exciting is happening to the National Healthy Schools Programme from September 2009

From September 2009 the National Healthy Schools Programme will evolve to further meet the changing needs of schools and pupils.

The developments will address new national and local drivers around the health and wellbeing of children and young people and link to new policy developments and inspection requirements in schools, such as the new SEF and Ofsted's Pupil Wellbeing Indicators.

Cornwall is working with the National Healthy Schools Programme team on the development of the new model. We were invited to take part because of our experience in helping to develop and implement HS Plus (as well as having some of the best Healthy Schools in the country!)
