Sun Smart

Commissioned by the Department of Health and run by Cancer Research UK, SunSmart is the UK's national skin cancer prevention campaign. It provides evidence-based information about skin cancer and sun protection.

Sun Smart has expanded and developed the schools section on its website. The resources now include a sun protection policy pack, activity plans, worksheets and materials for both primary and secondary schools. There's also a page devoted to sports day covering planning for sports day and what to do on the day to make sure everyone enjoys it and stays safe in the sun.
