Relaxation is a skill; it can be learnt and the great news is, it gets easier with practice! 

Relaxation can take many forms and there are plenty of approaches to choose from, the most important thing is to find what works for you.

By learning to recognise your own states of tension and relaxation, you can begin to control them at will. 

Download a variety of relaxation techniques (see navigation bar on the right of the screen) and give them a try. Some are more suitable for young children and some use more adult language or concepts.
