The annual awards will reward delivery of the national PE, School Sport and Club Links strategy. Schools will be automatically assessed for one of the marks through the national school sport survey, which all School Sport Partnership schools take part in.

Bog Standard has developed the School Toilet Award to recognise and promote good toilet provision for pupils in schools. The award sets out criteria to fulfil the Bog Standard Charter and there are three levels of the award.

The DCSF International School Award is an accreditation scheme for curriculum-based international work in schools. The scheme provides recognition for teachers and their schools working to instill a global dimension into the learning experience of all children and young people.

The PADL award is given to school councils which achieve standards set in participation and democracy in schools.

A nationwide award scheme that promotes the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child as the basis for enhancing teaching, learning, ethos, attitudes and behaviour.
