There are a number of Foodbanks around Cornwall that are available to individuals and families in times of financial crisis. To get food parcels from the Foodbank, you will need to obtain a voucher from a local care professional (e.g. GP, social worker, health visitor) and then visit a foodbank to collect your emergency food rations. You're Never Too Young to Talk Mental Health
As part of their 'You're never too young to talk mental health' campaign, the Schools in Mind network has produced a new resource to help parents and carers start conversations about mental health with children.
The free leaflet, which features an introduction from the Centre's Patron, HRH The Duchess of Cambridge, provides simple advice and guidance to parents and carers about how to make conversations about their child's feelings part of everyday conversation.
The leaflet was developed by the Centre's child mental health experts and all our resources have been evaluated prior to launch.
