New Term, New Training Offer:
We've updated our training calender ready for the year ahead, why not head over to our training page and check out this years training offer - we have a whole variety of different sessions available on many important topics.
Remember - all of our training is FREE!
We have introduced a new training session to the calender this year that we'd like to highlight for you:
Promoting Positive Food Culture
A positive food culture can have an impact across the school environment for pupil and staff wellbeing, as well as affecting physical health. This workshop is highly interactive with opportunity to explore how to promote food and healthy lifestyles throughout the school.
The content includes:
- School Food Plan, guidelines and Ofsted awareness
- Packed lunches, snack and school meals
- Meeting the curriculum guidance for cooking
- Ideas for growing in school
- Encouraging a positive food culture and ethos through assemblies and other activities
- Resources and signposting
Suitable for primary and secondary settings, delegates are welcome to attend our open sessions, or alternatively this course can be arranged at a date and time to suit you (free of charge) as an inset or twilight session. We ask for a minimum of 8 delegates and quiet space and facilities to deliver the training. You may like to join up with other schools in your local area or cluster to form a cluster based training session - a great way of sharing ideas, best practice and finding out what goes on in the schools around you. For any further information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
The first session will be running on Friday 1st December 2017 from 9am-12pm at The Basset Centre in Camborne. To book your place today click here.
