Developed jointly by Youth Sport Trust and Sportsdata, Skills2Achieve is a unique online programme that is suitable for primary and special schools (particularly those where clusters of primary schools work together with local secondary schools to support transition), which optimises tracking pupil progress in PE, sport and physical activity.

Skills2Achieve enables schools to:

  • Track progress
  • Support assessment
  • Evidence impact (for example of PE & Sport Premium)

Skills2Achieve includes progressive content against four themes:

  • Healthy Me
  • Social Me
  • Thinking Me
  • Physical Me

It has been designed to enable schools to track children's progress and encourage holistic development that supports not only physical education, but also their cognitive development (including speech and language), personal and social development and character education/citizenship.

In addition, through Skills2Achieve, schools can:

  • Create a range of graphs and reports to demonstrate progress and show comparisons (including boys/girls; pupil premium; PE & sport premium)
  • Track children's participation in activities outside the curriculum, both at school and in the community
  • Engage parents/ families through pupil/ parent access to the system
