Lin Marsh

Lin Marsh

We named our 2008 conference Believe after the wonderful song written by our special guest, composer Lin Marsh. Lin led two workshops for us, one for adults and one for children. She is passionate about singing with heart and soul, and we learnt that true communication of the song means being completely focussed on the song's meaning. As well as Believe she taught us another of her compositions That's what friends are for. Although That's what friends are for is unpublished, Lin gave us the sheet music - if you would like a copy for your school's music lessons or choir, contact us.

We were delighted that Newquay Junior School Choir and their teacher Glynnis Robertson performed during the children's workshop. They sang I'm special from the Healthy Me Songbook and they also sang descant and harmony in Believe.

Everyone enjoyed the Big Sing of Believe which ended our conference. The sheet music for Believe is published in Singbook: twelve songs worth singing, but if you only want the words, here is a song sheet.
