Active Club

Designed and produced by the British Heart Foundation 

Active Club is a super resource intended for use with an extra-curricular club: it contains a wide variety of activities for a wide range of ages. In order to receive and use the resource you need to attend a training day led by a registered tutor. Cornwall Healthy Schools is offering you this training and the chance to receive your pack.

Who can use the resource?

You don't need to be a teacher or a coach to run the club, so this training can benefit TAs and willing Governors. It's also ideal for lunchtime supervisors, who can use the activities to enhance activity at lunchtimes.

We love Active Club!

We've run several highly successful training days at Portreath Surf Lifesaving Club, the Liskerrett Centre and Blisland Village Hall; all were very well received. One participant said "I haven't done skipping for years - I'd forgotten how much fun it is - except my feet won't do Double Dutch these days!" Everyone had a lovely time and participants are using the resource in their schools.
